So who do you think is going to win the NCAA Championship this year?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Gonzaga...(Remember I'm originally from the Northwest so I have to pull for my boys back home)

I hereby retract my gonzaga prediction...(I said it before the brackets came out)

I hereby declare the Washington Huskies as my choice to win the championship.

(Damn that Seattle blood is still hurting from the superbowl)

Morrison has to be the most awkward looking player in College.
(Reminds me of a White Hippy"

However, he lead Div. I with the most Points per Game...

It would be an interesting match up if Redick and Morrison met up in the tourney.

My pre-dance prediction was Illinois... but they choked against the Huskies in the second half. So Washington has UConn up next? I haven't really been watching.

Arrgh! Oceanic Cable was out for a couple of hours, right when Bradley was upsetting Pittsburgh and when George Mason was upsetting North Carolina!

Did you notice that during the Bradley University / University of Pittsburgh game that CBS abbreviated the names as:
BRAD - 72
PITT - 66

As for my pick, I'm not going to bachi it before I go to see my alma mater play this week in Oakland!

That's pretty funny. Have you ever seen when ESPN televises an NBA game when Portland is playing at New Orleans? When they list the score in the small linear inset on the screen, it comes out looking like, for example, POR 57 NO 52.

Ok now... I'm staying with Gonzaga the rest of the way

Gonzaga up 39 -22 w/ 1:46 left in the half versus #2 seed UCLA

Now that were down to 16 who do you think will win?

I was listening to it on the way home from work... got home and didn't watch it on TV because I thought they had the game in the bag. Then I saw the news :eek: and got pissed because it musta been a good game to watch afterall. :mad:

BTW: A funny aside: if you register a car in WA you can get a vanity plate with either the Washington Husky logo (http://us.a1c.yahoofs.com/shopping/mcid6_26301/simg_t_tallprofootballjerseys_1863_2096807985?rm__ ___DDK0Qtpba) (designed by Nike) or the WSU Cougar (http://graphics.fansonly.com/schools/wast/graphics/wast-06-top-int01.jpg). As of a week or so ago, the "weasel Husky" (because some alum say the logo looks more like a weasel than a dog) plates were replaced by a more sedate block "W" (still in purple). One of the reasons why UW is replacing the symbol is because too many alums were complaining about that weasel Husky and refused to buy the vanity plates (which bring money back to the school). WSU was leading in sales by like 100:1. I have to admit, the WSU symbol is really cool because they morphed "WSU" into a cool looking wild cat. And as a UW alum, I say, classy is better than weasly! :D
