I remember getting a pair of battery converters on the mainland during a trip, and now I want to get one locally.

I say locally, because amazon.com has them for $5 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CP380C/sr=8-1/qid=1143362677/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-3886732-9213718?%5Fencoding=UTF8), but the shipping to Hawaii brings the total to $20!

Where can get them here?

I'm not sure about locally but here's another link for the same product thru Computer Geeks.com:

Just throwing this out there... I don't know if they have what your looking for.

Battery Bill's on Ahua, has been doing business with the state for a long time.

He seems to be on it... The old name for his business was Battery Exchange...or something like that.

We take in our UPS batteries and I see all kine other customers... Small kine hole in the wall type place.

I'm sure it's in the phone book.

You know these would really be handy for the emergency stuff. That way you can stock up on AAA and use them in your AA devices.
