Hmmm...I wonder if she's childless because she outlived her kids or if she never had any? That's my 2nd question after wondering if this story isn't tabloid fodder gone awry! :D

Twenty-one husbands. I can't even come up with a comment so I'll go back to doing my laundry!

Hey, Auntie...when you get to be my age you won't hesitate to post stuff like that. I mean, age causes the freedom to be a bit eccentric. Oh wait...I read your blog. You ARE eccentric! :D

Ya gotta give that ol' bride credit where credit might be due, ya know. Twenty-one husbands? Come on...she's gotta be doing something right! ;)

At least they're better off than a couple who get married even though one of them is incarcerated in prison for life without the possibility of parole...or conjugal visits. :o

Does the Dog's Wedding to Beth this weekend fall under this category?

I mean the lady lost one of her daughters to a car wreck the day before...

Do you have a link re: her daughter? I was at a wedding last night and because it was mainly film industry people, the subject of Dog's wedding came up. Nothing was mentioned about the death of Beth's daughter. My guess is no one knew. How horribly sad.

It was Duane "Dog" Chapman's daughter (http://starbulletin.com/2006/05/22/features/story02.html).

Chapman's daughter, Barbara Katy Chapman, 23, was killed in a car accident in Alaska the day before the wedding, but Chapman and his 10 surviving children decided to proceed.

Thanks, Lurkah. What a bittersweet day for them. And to think that each year they will be faced with two anniversaries back to back; one happy, one sad.

What a bittersweet day for them. And to think that each year they will be faced with two anniversaries back to back; one happy, one sad.
It was a nice touch, though, that they were able to decide to go forward with their nuptials with the idea of celebrating both the occasion of their wedding along with the life of his daughter (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,196370,00.html), so that future anniversaries may be more celebratory rather than mournful occasions.

I can't imagine what Friday was like for them. That's quite a family.

I have an 'anniversary' coming up in a few days and it's always my goal to make sure I laugh on that date. The memories allow me to do that!

Turns out the Dogs Daughter was in a Stolen SUV along w/ her boyfriend, when she died!

Jay Leno's Ross the Intern covered Dog and Beth's wedding. It just aired. Too funny. And for all of you die hard Hawaiiana folks, the segment featured mostly silly, touristy stuff. Still funny, tho'! :D

The articles I read back here in the states, all said that she had been battling with her drug problem, and although there were no drugs found on her, when they recovered her body, there were drugs in the car, and the car was stolen....
He has so much advise, and compassion for all his criminals, but none for his own daughter...
I used to love "Dog's" show, Until he started with "Him being GOD", and the "GOD spelled backward" crap, that just was too much..
And his website is all about the money, BUY BUY BUY....Glad he's in Hawaii!

If I had his fame... I would do what ever I could to sell t-shirts dog collars etc. while he can...

I see no problem with him setting up a web site to sell merchandise.

To tell you the truth, I doubt he had any real input on his website other than something like... "Oh yeah... that would be a good idea Beth... find someone who can do that for us."

Do a search for "woman marries cobra" to find stories about a lady who recently had a wedding in India to a snake in her garden.
