Dat lady scares the sh*t outta me. I want to know, what's this poor sucker like, that she's marrying?

Lack of response(s) might give you an inkling of reactions to your statement. Or maybe no one's been able to come up with an appropriate response. This is the best I could do. Maybe it's time for me to hit "ignore" . . .

Thank you. The realization has been slowly dawning....

Maybe this place should be renamed, "The Stepford Threads".

Dat lady scares the sh*t outta me. I want to know, what's this poor sucker like, that she's marrying? I don't know if flagrant rudeness is a genetic problem or a learned behavior for you, but the simple answer to your immature question is that IT'S NONE OF YOUR DAMNED BUSINESS.
(Auntie, don't get drawn in by this 'troll'. Just use the Ignore button. I'm sure Ryan will lock this thread as soon as he sees it.)

Look, I just thought that a sense of humour would, maybe, help. I cannot figure why Aunty put me on ignore, when I asked about hotdogs...and she DOES scare me.

If she scares you... then the truth hurts.... you can always add her to your ignore.
I posted a harsher version of this same post... I regretted it... and it is none of your business...or any of our business what she decides to do with her life... it is her life, not ours.

Look, I just thought that a sense of humour would, maybe, help. Sure it would. So when are you going to get one?
Surely you're not saying that your original post of "Dat lady scares the sh*t outta me. I want to know, what's this poor sucker like, that she's marrying?" was supposed to be humorous?!?

Nah...I don't DO 'ignore'. Gotta be some way to work it out.

Susie...you're original post in this thread didn't come off as humorous...AT ALL. Zero, zip, zilch in the humor department, aamof. You might have meant it that way and felt in your heart that it was, indeed, humorous but one has to take care with the written word when no other signs of feelings are visible. We can't see you laughing. We can't hear the humor in your voice. We can't see your body language. All we can see are your words.
Aunty Lynn is a respected member of the HT community. You are a newcomer, as once we all were. As a newcomer to any online community it's best to lurk first and get a feel for the community and it's members. I've been a member for only 8 months and, as far as I can remember, you are the first person Lynn mentioned she was putting on ignore. Again, that's based on memory, not fact.
"The Stepford Threads"? Hmmm...
In all honesty, Susie, with the plethora of online communities, it appears to me that there might be others more suited to your "sense of humor".
Just one tutu's opinion...

Once again, starting a thread to discuss the details of a member's personal life not volunteered on the site is inappropriate. If you have questions or comments, send them to the member directly. In this case, Aunty Lynn also has a personal site where you can find more details than you could possibly need.
