Today, I read that two people (one locally, another from the mainland) got their hard drives wiped and XP was installed w/out replacing their files. The local person's story is here (http://www.forumshawaii.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=2495773) with service by Compusa/Sony and the other guy's story is here (http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=483079), with his computer wiped by Best Buy's Geek Squad. Guess what? They all were doing CD drive replacements!
