Aloha to all,

I just found your forum and it looks like a great place to hang out.

I was born in Hilo a bunch of years ago. My mother was Hawaiian and my father was a haole from NC.

We moved to the mainland when I was about 18 months old.

For reals - I got pregnant with my daughter, June 1967 @ Naniloa Hotel! My hubby was at Pohakuloa for his Natl. Guard summer training - I went down to spend the weekend with him. Hey, we were newlyweds & needed to be together. :o

Howzit RWS! Funny how "Life's a winding road, with a Great view." I was born on Long Island, NY and my parents moved to Puako (That's Kona side) on the Big Island when I was 1 year old. Have fun and welcome!

Aloha, RWS - from where in NC do you now hail? I've got friends throughout the state, and have been there a number of times, from Asheville to Raleigh to Charlotte to the Outer Banks to Wilmington; there's a lot of beauty in the region.

I've been in Raleigh for the last 11 years. Grew up in upstate NY.
