I.D. Renewal.
For those who haven't had their I.D. renewed yet, & don't know where it is.. just a heads up....
its in 1199 Dillingham Blvd. Suite A101
Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm
it is $40.00
They will accept any payment (Cash, maybe checks, & 99% of all credit cards) except American Express credit card.
Feel Free to call - phone #(808) 532-7730 ,you would be lucky enough if you actually get through. Maybe my best bet to call is when they open or drive there, which you will have a better chance on asking what you need to bring.
OR.... see if you can Google the information you need to bring.
(I got lucky when I called & got through, & asked what I needed to bring).
*Warning, I don't even know if you go in by 8 am or by 3:30 pm that you may get things done a lot faster or not.
I know that when I got in late morning that it took me several hours just to complete the task, & had to stand in one long line, & then go into a secondary short line to pay , then take a photo.
They will punch out your original I.D., give it to you, then give you a temporary card until your new one comes in the mail several weeks later.
You have to carry the temp. card with you , but I am not sure if you have to carry an additional information to back it up like it says on the paper.
" If you intend to use your temporary card for identification purpose, we recommend that you also carry a secondary form of identification (passport, Birth certificate, military I.D. etc.) "
* I guess that's up to your own discretion. *
Make sure you have everything that you need, because, some of those who was in line with me, was either their 2nd time &/or their 3rd time there, because they didn't have the necessary papers with them.
* OHHH, jet letting you know .... when you get there, you will need to fill in a application paper of some personal info. Just letting you know. It will be on the first long table by the entrance of the door. looked kind of orarngy looking color, or just ask anyone that looks like that works there.
IF you can, bring a friend, or a family member with you, just encase you need to excuse your self for personal reasons or another, & that you have someone holding your line for you. .

by the way, I prefer the older I.D. I had (its much prettier) than the new one now.
