They do. I believe there's an exhibit with the notes accompanying returned lava at Volcanoes Nat'l Park HQ IIRC. Funny reading but not always funny haha.

Hike the trails around the Volcanoes Nat'l Park HQ.

The steam vents and lava tubes are pretty cool.

Spend some time in Hilo. Still real.

Hike the coastline to within sight of the lava flows...
