As has informally been announced already, Surfingfarmboy takes Week 12 with thirteen correct predictions! He was the only participant in the whole pool who picked Washington to beat Carolina, and that was the difference, as OceanPacific took second with twelve correct. A whole armada of paddleboats came in third with eleven correct. Here are the complete scores:

TimKona does have it wrapped up for Week 13, whether Carolina wins tomorrow or not, and nachodaddy will take second. This means we have a new leader in the weekly game!

I've been meaning to post this for some time, but here's how we'll handle the tie-break if at the end of Week 17 we still have a tie in the weekly game.

As soon as the playoff matchups are announced, I'll put up a bracket sheet, and everyone in contention for the title will submit picks to me in private (or to a neutral third party, if I'm one of the contenders). A correct pick in the wild-card round will be worth 1 point, a correct pick in the divisional game will be worth 2, a correct pick in the conference championship will be worth 3, and a correct SuperBowl pick will be worth 4. All predictions as submitted in the initial bracket will stand until the end of the playoffs!

We may need to do this for fun for the rest of us, too. I love bracketology.

Anyone got a suggestion for improving the tie-breaker? I'm open to discussion.

Holy moly, there's a game Thursday (tomorrow). I thought we were done with Thursday nights, but it turns out we go that way for the rest of the regular season. Great!

So no penalty if for some reason you're not checking this thread every day and you miss Thursday's matchup, except of course you forfeit that game. To clarify: the deadline is still kickoff Thursday, but if you get your picks in late, then 6:00 Sunday is fine. You can also change your picks up to that point.
