Indeed he did, in the "Have you met anyone famous" thread.

Strange thing though, is he posted it at least 3 times: once in November, 08, and twice in Jan 09. I think Barry was having problems with memory, as I have also had (have). It would go along with stories he told me about being in the Brit Military, and with having psychogenic seizures caused by combat stress (which I witnessed when we visited, and which I have had as well). It's something that's more common than you would think, but people don't like to talk about it. Seizures have a stigma to them.

Additionally, we were both born in July 1947, I'm pretty sure. Funny.

He never mentioned being a rocker when we met in London - I just guess we had too many other things to talk about.

Yes, it was Paul - at a Buddy Holley remembrance concert. Paul seemed pretty friendly with Barry - as if they were old friends.

Both lads from Liverpool, why not?

I was only with him for two days in London. We tried to meet up in Dublin, but he lost the name of our hotel and didn't say where he was staying. We looked for him.

Finally in London we connected. I forget how. He was an amazing person. We all immediately felt as if we had known each other all our lives.

He had an amazing and interesting life, and most of it will remain unknown or just guessed at by us.

Not that you were enamored, to be sure...

But we all certainly were. And still are.
