Smile Geminid meteor shower Dec 13-14

Looks to be a GREAT year for watching the meteor shower.

"This is it, the shower we've been waiting for. Set aside some time Wednesday night December 13–14 for the Geminids. Not only is it the year's most prolific, with up to 120 meteors per hour visible from rural skies, the Moon is essentially out of the picture. "

Here's info from Bishop Museum on local times:

Geminid Meteor Shower
Peak: nights of December 13-14, from 12:01 a.m. to dawn. Active period: December 6 – 19. One of the best showers; and we in Hawai‘i often have good weather in December to see it. This meteor shower is a rarity in that it is caused by debris from an asteroid (3200 Phaethon) rather than by comet debris.
Now run along and play, but don’t get into trouble.
