    Paella from the prep cupboard...only I forgot the chorizo, so it's more just Spanish rice.

    Soak a handful each of dried peas, turkey cubes, onions, peppers, and seafood cocktail for about half an hour in water to cover. Put this into the rice cooker with a packet of paella spice and a chopped chorizo, add water as usual. Cook.

      I am EXACTLY the same in both of these cases.

      Friday night's dinner was exceptional, as we treated my kumu & her new husband to dinner: prime rib (though I had filet mignon), all the sides, salads, desserts, and champagne.

                                I been craving nutting but saimin, or better yet, mung mein, and chinese lemon. dats ALL I like eat, ALL da time! foa weeks! Breakfast, lunch and dinner. No, not hapai, just... high blood pressha, i tink - all that bad saltiness.

                                So for dinner tonight I had... guess what... fried chicken, mac salad and rice from ZIPPY'S! And grapes for desert. I like grapes.
