KHAI 103.5 vs the old KIPO 89.3

I have been listening to Air 1 KHAI 103.5, and the signal is pretty weak here in Waipahu. KHAI 103.5 is in Wahiawa with a power of 2,200 watts, so I think the station is similar to the old KIPO 89.3 at 3,000 watts. The only difference is that the old KIPO was the other way around, i.e, clear reception in Waipahu but fuzzy or no reception in Wahiawa.
