    Re: What's for lunch - Chapter 8

Finally broke down and went to Palace Saimin . . . had to do sumpin about my saimin fix.

Admittedly, I had the ramen at Tai Sei, but not the same. Definitely not the same.
Born in Hawaii, too - Truss me

Stuff from the buffet at Sweet Basil. Pretty good for $8 and some change. Three different kinds of salad (chinese chicken salad, one with broccoli and corn and one with raw ong choy. I've never had raw ong choy before.), two kinds of soup, three kinds of rice (sticky, white jasmine and brown jasmine. Never knew there was brown jasmine rice), chicken curry, fried chicken, chicken and squash, corn fritters and a fresh fruit bowl.

Personal pan pizza from Taco Bell and a large Mountain Dew with a side of bread sticks and a burrito supreme.

Forgot my leftover steak dinner at home, so, today it was tuna and tekka rolls (and a bottle of pink lemonade) from Manoa Sushi.

Our office manager's wife is a gourmet cook; she made meatloaf for us all to share.

Yes - a gourmet cook can make meatloaf --- and it was ONO!
