          OK.....reading all the island foods made me hungry for a taste of home. Made one huge pot of Japanese Chicken Curry Stew. Broke da mouth! Got extra rice left over so I guess I gotta make some spam musubi tomorrow!
          ....Oh how I miss home.....

                            Plate lunch from Ohana Kitchen in Vegas. Mixed plate - chicken katsu and kalbi. Side mac salad and kim chee. Diet coke, of course.

                              Kalua pork sandwich with da bomb potato mac salad from a new place in Duvall, WA called Lei's Family Restaurant. Dessert was snitching a few bites out of a humungous piece of lilikoi chiffon cake from Kauai Family Restaurant Bakery. Also in my oven right now: kalua turkey and kulolo from scratch for tomorrow.
