  • 3 days/ 2 nights

There is a billboard here in Los Angeles for $99 r/t to Hawaii. I called and it is a timeshare sales pitch. We are going to sit in a high pressure presentation for 90 minutes and if we make it out alive we (supposedly) get two tickets and hotel for two to the Islands.

After the presentation, we have to wait 60 days to schedule the trip.

My mom sold timesharing in Waikiki when I was a kid, so I know what to expect. Time will tell if it is worth it.

BTW, the company is Travel Media. Anybody heard of it?

What is their full name? Googling brings up a couple of different companies with those words within their full name.

Timeshare presentation warnings for "free/cheap trips" include becoming fully informed ahead of time on what will end up being your responsibilities for taxes, fuel surcharges, etc. And sometimes there are hotel "catches" also. Free isn't always free in the end. Cheap isn't always cheap in the end.
Now run along and play, but don’t get into trouble.

Put on a wig and a wireless link to an external receiver.

After the claims of the promoter have been recorded save them,

and after the trip is over, bill it back to foggy bottom.
