    I always love your pictures Christa! And usually, I don't like seeing "Eye Candy" of young women. However, the way you take um ~ AWESOME!

      OH! i forgot to post this one last week. my favorite shots from gym class heroes concert:





      but i dunno. something about the females i meet here. i just love them. they are so young and pretty and vibrant!

        This belongs in The Best Part Of Today thread, I suppose, but since there are photos... the best part of today was spending some time out at the sandbar in Kaneohe Bay. The photos were taken while the boat was moving, but. Click on the thumbnails anyway.

              While waiting for the Superferry to pass by Kakaako Waterfront Park early yesterday morning, I shot this pic of a mynah bird that landed on the head of the sculpture at the Ewa end of the park. Kind of grainy as I shot it at either 400 or 800 ISO. Canon Digital Rebel 300D.

                Did you see the new Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III? 21 flash card-crunchin' megapixels! and... and.. DUAL Digic III processors. Whoah!!! If I were snapping a shot of something with my meager PowerShot model, and "Photo Pro" pulls up next to me with that bad boy, I'd be just... just... just jealous.

                Remember Braddah Sam Langi from OC-16's "Local Kine Grindz" TV show? Here's Braddah Sam, playing yesterday with his band, Vaihi at Duke's Outrigger Waikiki...



                He's a big man, with a big heart. You really feel his good vibe in his presence. Chicken skin 'kine. As big as he is, he gets his dance groove on!

                  Oh... my... Gawd!!! I went to that link and noticed that the list price is (gulp) $7,999 (faint). And that's "body only" so presumably a lens is extra.

                  Having spent quite a bit of time with Sam, I'll not only confirm your opinion of him but will state that he's simply one of the nicest human beings I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
