Default Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Saw the movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters at the Ward Theater today (6/30/19).

This is a sequel to the 2014 Godzilla movie. In this movie the world is dealing with the knowledge of the existence of other large lifeforms dubbed as titans that are awaking up all around the world and how to deal with them.

There are nods to the older monster movies and other scifi works like:
  • Mothra
  • Rodan
  • King Ghidorah
  • Oxygen Destroyer
  • Cloudbase from Captain Scarlet

For myself I missed about 20 to 30 minutes of the later half of the movie, so I would like to go see it again. There is a scene at the end of the movie so please stay after the running of the credits.

Default Re: Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Saw this movie again on Thursday morning (7/4/19) at the Ward Theater and it was showing in the small theater.

Did see it all the way through this time around. Picked up on this go around that Kong and Skull Island got mentioned in the dialogue, but not in the same scene.
