It's a big, fat, fake, elaborate yet wholly transparent "viral marketing" campaign. You know, an attempt to build "buzz" by relying on message boards, blogs, chat rooms, gossip columns, and other channels.

The twist, besides the blog, is that "Emily" is actually posting comments to other blogs and message boards focused on divorce, bad relationships, and getting revenge. (I'm pretty sure, in this case, that our Adri is not a "buzz agent"!) Of course, even though you know it's fake, the more folks work to debunk and unmask it, the more attention it gets anyway, so someone, somewhere, is getting the last laugh.
