Also notice in the Members List section that below our username most of us are "Keiki". I take it this will change as one post more messages?

    Re: Keiki forever?

Quite right. I just came up with the set to have some values besides "Beginner," "Intermediate," and the like. I'm not even sure if the stages are really logical (Hawaiian social roles don't sit along one scale), and the qualifying points will probably be moved around depending on just how active things get here. Suggestions welcome!

In case you're curious, here's the breakdown right now:

    Keiki: 0 posts
    Haumana: 20 posts
    Kanaka: 50 posts
    Luna: 100 posts
    Kia`aina: 200 posts
    Kumu: 400 posts
    Ali`i: 800 posts

You could make Haumana 25 posts. That way everything would be doubled for the next level.

If you ask me, KUMU should be a higher ranking than ALI`I.

Gosh...I have to really "hut hut" before people pass me on the fly! Some people really have contributed a lot and have very helpful hints and thoughtful suggestions. I'm just glad that we have these threads for communication.

                Re: Keiki forever?

I guess the majority of the people who post around here have more of a life than most people who post in other forums and have 10K+ posts.
