  • What's bad about those clearance sales?

    The Tony Group is having a 99¢ car sale to clear their lot (and its a huge lot) - which I heard on the radio. I know about the doc fee and whatnot, so its not really 99¢ - more like $xxx.99 or something like that.

    Other than that doc fee or whatever, why shouldn't (or should) I atleast take a look?

    (and if you're wondering how I made that cent character, is in Windows XP's character map)


    EDIT: I heard the ad again, and its all low mileage cars. On their website, they have a few used cars I'm interested in, so I'll check it out.

    I would immediately think there is a catch. Be it the cars are the "pull it off
    the lot youself" speciality or there is high interest rate. But who knows, you
    may get lucky. It doesn't hurt to look, just use common sense
