I've notice a lot of people not from Hawaii on HT recently?

So just a general question that is to broad to put a poll out....(many people choose not to fill out their profile...etc.)

So with that being said where are you from?

Since I'm asking... I will say I was born in Cali... raised in Washington and reside in Honolulu....

that's the type of answers I was seeking...nothing specific.

I was actually born in Ohio, but I only lived there 3 months. I was raised in Florida, & in Maryland, where I live now.

So with that being said where are you from?

Nebraska, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Colorado - in that order. My hobby is collecting hometowns.

Fort Bragg, NC born, moved to Honolulu (Kalihi-Palama), then to the Bay Area, CA for middle school (East Bay!), back to Hawaii for HS, Indiana for college, then back to Hawaii.

Many childhood summers were also spent at our home in Cape Cod, MA.

Immigrant ancestors from the plantation asians (Yes, true).
Immigrant ancestors from territorial and statehood times.

Born Honolulu (Kapi'olani) but lived in Waipahu, then Ewa Beach, then Kunia before I moved (by da parents) to Southern California where I still reside, an ocean away from the rest of my 'ohana.

Honestly, Sue...surprised. Your oft-stated disdain of NY natives made me think you were a native Californian... It's a common sentiment of those from California, IME.

Born on base, moved around. Ended in Dexter,Oregon stayed until now moving all over Oregon....Springfield the last 9 years. Moving in 6 months.
