HBO Family premiered (or is premiering this week) the first segment in a 3-part series on children and music (or at least I remember reading it was a 3-part series). I caught the first segment on On Demand this morning and it's totally cute. There's at least two children from Hawaii (from Pearl City and Kaneohe) who get about 20 seconds of time, but my favorite musician was the 7-year-old accordian player (he's in the photo on the web site).
It can be seen on HBO On Demand (under Documentaries) and plays all month on HBO Family. I'm jealous of every one of these kids - I played oboe, but I wasn't really good til I was 18
Anyway, if you catch it on or get bored, it's a good watch
