  • Warriors: Hawaii vs. Fresno St.

Warriors are having quite a productive first half.

Less than 10 minutes in the 1st half with Hawaii leading 28-7.

    42-17... at half time...

Hope we can lickem as bad as they licked us a few years ago

Re: Warriors: Hawaii vs. Fresno St.

As I type this, Pascoe just scored a TD for Fresno State.

I hope UH doesn't rest on their laurels just yet. This big play might just have been the second wind they needed.

Anybody know why this away game was shown live and not on PPV?

ETA: My early condolences to Coach Pat Hill.

With a few exceptions (UH-Alabama, for one), PPV has always been primarily for home games.

It was PPV-ed at Boise State as well. I'm assuming they PPV away games for the "top tier" games. I know Fresno State's not doing too well this season, but when I used to work for the ticket office (and tiers determined ticket price), they were always considered "top tier".

ETA (to avoid double posting): Jim Donovan just informed us that instead of drinking Gatorade (or other similar hydrating drinks), the Fresno State football team signed a contract at the beginning of the season to drink CHOCOLATE MILK. Ummm..okay.

Well from that 70-14 Fresno victory to today's 68-37 Hawaii win is a pretty good answer back, although not as much of an insulting spread. Still sweet though.

Did you see where they put our announcers, Jim Leahi and Russell Yamanoha? Up on the roof outside, with no canopy for cover or anything! I agree with Jim. Next time we host Fresno, we'll put their guys in Klum Gym.

While the spread wasn't as big, we have to remember that it was Homecoming for the Bulldogs. Embarassing nonetheless.

They did the same thing for the Hawaii announcers at Boise State as well.

Re: Warriors: Hawaii vs. Fresno St.

I did not get to see any of the game, but I was aware UH was kicking butt through updates on ESPN. So tell me: How did Pat Hill take this loss? I seem to remember that he isn't particularly fond of UH football, once bemoaning after a loss in Honolulu that UH-FState games are never close (in Fresno's favor) when played in California.
