I just wanted to take a moment to mention the Hawaii Foodbank's annual campaign to raise funds during the holiday to support the hungry. All the details including participating stores are here. Many of the hungry in our community are not homeless, not unemployed and not the dregs of society. Most are working families who make hard choices about whether to pay rent or buy nutritious food. A small donation goes a long way to help and it's simple!
