What do you do with 1/3 of 12 and 4/5 of 7 to get 11?

Give up?
I guess I'll just tell you, cuz no one has gotten it.
Twelve is 6 letters long, and seven is 5 letters long. So the e and the l from twelve (1/3 of 12) and the e, v, e, and n from seven (4/5 of 7) makes eleven.

Try this one:
Let's say you're in a pet hospital where there are 6 dogs, 5 cats, 4 parrots, 3 turtles, and 2 fish. Now call the dogs parrots, the cats turtles, the parrots fish, the turtles dogs, and the fish cats.
How many kinds of animals are in the hospital?

I looked and no one answered?

It's the same amount of animals, you just changed their names.
