Scroll a little down and on the right-hand side will be an advance search, select "Rentals" and put the keyword Hilo in.
There is one on Iwilani that's for rent through Jan Mahuna. You can see the school from the driveway. If I weren't tied in through June in my current lease I'd probably be there.
Is this a house that you are looking for you and a bunch of your friends... or what? Tell us more details about what type of housing you are looking for?
Some of us on Oahu have houses and/or know of things on the big island...
What kind of price range...etc...
Brandon...please be more specific?
P.S. I know your a new student at UH Hilo...you must also realize that realtors/property managers are sometimes hesitant to rent to "college" students...
Any rate... fill us in on more specifics and maybe someone on HT can help you out!...
Heck Craigwatanabe might have a rent free place for a month! Kidding CW!

I really need to get a job on the big island.... ! Why are most good jobs here on Oahu? I now feel why so many neighbor island residents leave there home islands...it may be because there is not many opportunites....well I've always known this... however the more and more I look for jobs in my field on the big island... the more and more I realize that I might not ever have a job in my field on the big island....
I will retire there though..! That's a given!

Between semesters is often a good time to get a place at The Collegian (across the street from the gym, next to the Baptist Student Center). Call over there now and tell them you want on the waitlist. I lived there for a year and a half, and I really liked it. Super-duper convenient, if a bit loud at night on weekends.
But I'm disturbed! I'm depressed! I'm inadequate! I GOT IT ALL! (George Costanza) GrouchyTeacher.com
