Kids Sick in School

If you have kids in elementary school, have you noticed a marked increase in absentees? Kid 1 is home sick; I hear our first grade at Koko Head shows the most kids out. My daughter's third grade class has 5 kids sick; that's 25 percent! The same with my kindergartner's class--25 percent! So I am half expecting Kid 2 to get sick, too.

Symptoms are a fever, headache... no sniffles or sore throats--knock wood!

I even need to schedule them for their flu shots. Argh! How I hate it when the kids get sick! I feel for them, but I also don't get any sleep!

I had this last week! Low grade fever, muscle aches, and severe fatigue. It wiped me out Friday and Saturday.

It could be a flu virus, who knows. At least it left my lungs and my guts alone.
