We enjoy playing name games here, so here's a new one called Name That Slogan!
In this modern era of commercialism, we're bombarded with advertising. Often the main punch line is the company, corporation or politician's slogan. Usually it's a short phrase or motto which suggests their purpose, goal, objective or belief.
"Think Outside the Bun" and "Have It Your Way" tell us exactly what Taco Bell and Burger King are all about.
With this game, the rule is to give a slogan (only one per post), and the next person has to identify the company/corporation, politician or whatever it is that slogan belongs to.
Example: My first post is "Think Outside the Bun". Then you'll answers: TACO BELL
Then you'll post a new slogan for the next person to identify, such as "Have It Your Way". And so on. Simple as that.
Since this is a Hawaii-based discussion board, local businesses or political campaigns would be ideal, but national chains (or politicians) are fine too.
If you're out of state (or the US), Please don't post a slogan from someplace like "Feeding the Fat Man for over 100 Years" which might belong to BETTY-BOB'S BBQ SHACK out in Memphis, Tennessee. lol Us Hawaii folks would never get it.
Obscure Hawaii places are cool. Such as a local dentist or law firm. The harder it is to "Google" the better! We want those who know their stuff!
If it's too obscure, provide a hint such as, Hint: Located in Hawaii Kai. Or, Hint: It's a Korean Restaurant.
Discussions and commentary on the slogan at hand are welcome. "Have it your Way"? Not even! I never get my burger MY WAY there! lol
Lastly, the slogan can be past or present, as companies often change their slogans with new ad campaigns. But keep it reasonably identifiable.
With that, I'll start the first (and very easy) slogan for you to answer!
Slogan:
"The Bank That Says, Yes!"
Who does that belong to?
