    It's pretty slick, although I find the obvious, deliberate multicultural flavor of the characters somewhat annoying. I get advertisements for stuff like this all the time, and since I'm not into early childhood education, I usually don't even look at it, so I can't say if this looks more or less impressive than the other stuff that's out there.

    I will say that I find it refreshing that the activities are meant to be pencil-paper activities. Some combination of interactivity on the web and old-school pencil-paper learning is probably appropriate.

      good point. i haven't carefully looked into the content of that site so i should have pointed that out. i should have made clear that i was impressed with the way in which the site came to be (mom quits job as lawyer, kids help/participate, etc).

      bottom line should be quality of the content.
