    I found this absolutely fascinating.

    Re: Origins of Polynesians

I found it disturbingly inaccurate. Lies lies and more lies and a creative imagination.

So the ancient Caucasians from Spain settled in the Americas 18,000-13,000 years ago? Then they ruled over the Polynesians?

Peter Marsh is a joke. Not a single respected scientist in Polynesian Studies(or any studies) subscribes to this looney.

This is the most accepted theory of Polynesian origins and migration.
Starting with the East Coast of China then moving Easterly across the Pacific.

I usually like hard core scientific explanations, but in explaining the evolution of the kanaka maoli, I very much prefer the Kumulipo! It's a geneology befitting a very special people.
