Interesting. How do you make and serve such a concoction? It sounds so contradicting, yet I bet it's really ono!

Glad to see you back, Ran!

I have to tell you, Pomai...leaving Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico this year (I was there 2 months for my annual winter farming tour in PR) was really tough. I didn't have much in the way of an Internet connnection where I was at in Sta. Isabel, so my contributions to this (and many other) site/s suffered. Not that anyone really missed me. Anyway..it is good to be back..and I thank you for the sentiment.

Peanut butter and Miracle Whip...preferably on the gummiest Love's white bread that can be found. Just make it like a PB and J sandwich. For me, it's the next best thing, after inari, of course!

Pan fried pork chops seasoned with salt and plenty pepper served with apple sauce.

Sashimi served over a bed of finely shredded daikon with a kochu jan (sp? ) dipping sauce.

          Pineapple and li hing powder.

Real chicken fried steak and white gravy. A perfect match just as it's supposed to be.

          Anykine steak and Hawaiian salt.

Kalbi or bulkogi grilled over keawe charcoal. Not briquets.

Honolulu Chocolate Company (they still around?), they had a good chocolate truffle and a certain filled cordial. Either went real well with a good cabernet.
          Sure miss those days.

Any good meat gravy or au jus (prime rib or kalbi) and rice.

Kalbi and juices over scrambled eggs and rice.

          Pancakes and coconut syrup.

          Grilled misoyaki butterfish and ochazuke.

Hmm. MW is sweet enough. Might have to give this one a try, but I'll probably slip in a piece of Swiss or Provolone and some ham.
