  • The Children of Hurin

Does anyone have this book? It's described as a prequel to Lord of the Rings. An unfinished novel by Tolkien, his son edited the book. It is selling very well. It has also garnered good reviews. I guess I need to go it one. Any feedback would be welcome. USA Today article.

If you've read the Silmarillion, then you already know the bones of the story.

Thanks for the response. I did read it (many years ago though) so I'll probably pick up this book on my next bookstore visit.

They must revised the Hurin part of Silmarillion quite a bit in order to make a complete book.

I'll probably read it when everyone is bored of it.
