Re: Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo
Awesome. I was just chatting the other night with someone working on a puzzle involving homophonous phrases. I am mildly embarrassed to say that I had to read through most of the explanation before I figured out what the sentence means, and, like those visual illusions once you get them, I can no longer make it NOT make sense when I read it aloud.
Cool link. But I'm disturbed! I'm depressed! I'm inadequate! I GOT IT ALL! (George Costanza)

The "F" word can also be used in a homophonous phrase or sentence. This one kid in my grade school was really good at that one. lolsigpic The Tasty Island

Not quite the same, but I like:
Aia i `Aiea i `au`au ai ia i`a a`u i `ai ai.
(Apologies if I have failed to include proper kahako. Translation, as I learned it, is: "There in `Aiea used to swim a fish which I have eaten.")

Oh, ouch man, my brain hurts! and on a sunday morn, dangit.
"Had had had" makes sense to me, it works, but this long line of buffaloes is just a pain. I'll just ignore this thread and come back to it once I've had more caffeine, my food's been in me a few hours and I uh........feel really bright.Stop being lost in thought where our problems thrive.~
