Has any one read this book by Cormac McCarthy? Wondering whaty you guys thought of it. I have mixed feelings but I think it would make a fantastic film...

I didn't finish it. It was too painful; I kept thinking about my young son. Gorgeous prose, though.* I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. *

I am a big fan of McCarthy. His Border Triology is one of the best things I've read. Haven't read this one yet, though, but I read excerpts and it looks wonderful.But I'm disturbed! I'm depressed! I'm inadequate! I GOT IT ALL! (George Costanza)
