My favorite steel player has an evening gig Oct. 29th at The Honolulu Academy of Arts. He'll be backed by Milan Bertosa/bass, and Sean Thibideaux/rythym and vocals. These two also backed Bobby on his most recent CD 'Stranger Here', which has garnered excellant reviews from John Berger and Wayne Harada. It is currently available only at his (still a work in progress) web site www.bobbyingano.com His first CD 'Steel Reflections' is a long revered classic by the world wide steel loving community.
If you're going to the slack key festival at Kapiolani Park tomorrow, Bobby will be sitting in with Mike Kaawa at 2pm, and whomever else wishes to utilize his tasteful talents throughout the day, from 11am - 6pm.
