The current issue of Sports Illustrated has a Q&A with him, too. If it's in the online version I can't find it, but it's the print edition with Alabama football on the cover.
Reading the NYT story, it might have been nice to get Miano's first name right. It's "Rich," guys, not "Rob."
Sheesh. Miano played for the NY Jets for a long time, too; you'd think the NY sportswriters would remember.

I knew there was something wrong when I read that. I remember Rich played well for the Eagles too.
About the article: In spite of getting Miano's name wrong, I think the article did a nice job of not using a lot of the cliches about Hawaii that usually pop-up in the national press. It got to what aloha means (especially to Colt) without spelling it out too much.
