  • UHM vs. Charleston Southern

Hawaii should win this game by at least 35. With #18, 12, 10, and 16 losing today, Hawaii should have a little nudge upward in the polls.

Also with Arkansas losing, McFadden's Heisman chances fade. BUT! At this point, I'd have Kentucky's Andre Woodson and Florida's Tim Tebow ahead of Colt Brennan. Granted, it's waaay too early in the season to consider that.

Should, but I am reminded of the Michigan-Appalachian State game.

    I hope Colt will play.

Colt is prepped to play but has not seen action yet. Currently it's 7-0 UHM.

14-7 UH now, but UH is not manhandling CSU they way we need to gain any poll positions.
        We need a blowout.

Keep us posted. Well at least me! I don't have access to radio or PPV right now. Play by play would be good. Score 'n stats, absolutely.

Same offer as last time, brah. Or for a future game.
And UH had damned well better put Colt in for the second half!!!

Re: SPOILER THREAD - UH vs. Charleston Southern

A 90-yard kickoff return to start the second half, and UH leads 28-10.

CSU has a 2-1 advantage in time of possession. Just what they wanted to do to stop us, and their plan is working. And UH leads in turnovers, 3-2.
Looks like Colt isn't coming in.

UH returns an interception for a touchdown, and it's 35-10.
Fourteen points in the first minute and 12 seconds of the second half.

If Colt sits out this game, will it hurt his chance for the Heisman?

Yes, but not much. This wasn't a real opponent we played. If Colt puts up his typical numbers in the NEXT game, he'll be right back on track.

I agree with Scriv. But while Colt may rack up big numbers this season, the quality of the opponents is mostly weak, so that won't help.
And hey, remember in Timmy Chang's junior year when June Jones predicted that he would win a Heisman?
And for Pomai -- 56-10, just underway in the 4th.
We may win this sucker after all.
