For me, it's the fridge. Preserves food for days, months, weeks, even years! And you can eat food straight out of the fridge, making it unnecessary to have a stove, if you'll eat sandwiches the rest of your life. On hot days, you can open the fridge and get a tarp and make your own "igloo".

kitchen Aid upright, once again VERY versatile.

Coffee maker here also. BTW I hate when the filter sometimes gets folded over in my haste (or I don't put the pot on straight), then when I go back down to get my coffee there's water and grinds all over the counter.

hmm... most useful yet often overlooked until they break. Gotta be the garbage disposal on the sink or the dishwasher.
Most loved? Gotta be the knives for me as well. Sharpen twice! Once before cutting and once after cutting (or before putting away)-kp!

What is it with guys and knives - that's mine too. Love chopping the veggies."The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers."
Socrates.
