A company called FlightSoft has released an extension to Microsoft's well-regarded Flight Simulator called "Fly To Hawaii.'
They boast about "the most advanced visual models of the McDonnell Douglas DC10 Jetliner ever to appear in a flight simulator program," and if you check out the pictures on the site (here's one), they're pretty impressive. For a split second, you figure they're photographs of real planes. (Interestingly, though, they're using Hawaiian's older paint scheme.) You can also fly an Air Force KC10.
Notably, the airports you can take off and land from include Honolulu, Mauii and Kona, and you can even make a Los Angeles run.
I haven't used MSFS since... well, since it ran on Windows 98. Looks like game technology has treated the title well... terrorism training implications notwithstanding.
