If you've read The Diary of Anne Frank, you know what I'm talking about. She wrote about a boy, a couple of years older, who would walk her home from school. His name was Peter, and Anne referred to him as her "one true love."
Someone has given a photo of Peter to the Anne Frank museum. I know it's sad, but it's also something else. Like, putting a face on this person who was only a name for so long sorta humanizes him and Anne, and makes her story even more real.
Anyway, check out the story here.
