There's going to be a new show on OC16 called DokoGaTV. Pali is the co-host and co-producer.

From Pali:

it features the coolest people, places, things, occupations, hobbies etc.. we interview some of the big anime studio guys, the latest power ranger series in Japan, martial artists, best food etc.. etc...

Also the live shows from the Pakele Lounge go to the tube!!

From Pali:

Pakele becomes a TV series!!! Pakele Live on OC16 starting 7/30, 7pm... both series repeats 7 times/week...

so, I'm stoked

I'm glad the shows repeat, 7pm HST is 1am for me

I first put it into the 'Tube' section since it was about TV, it got moved up to the top of the forums into 'Announcements'...now it's in 'Announcing'.

Maybe it'll be the amazing traveling thread and eventually hit all the hot spot forum sections.

I had debated about whether to put it here or tube 'cause it was sort of a half and half type thing...I flipped a coin, tube won

But it surprised me to see it all the way up in the admin announcements area.

We're stoked about both shows, and we just confirmed a DokoGaTV:HawaiiMania show will also be airing in Japan in July as a summer preview and then in Sep. 08 (the show will feature a more intimate look at Hawaii, the "postcard plus" type topics.. music, hula, people, food etc).

Finally, Pakele has been a labor of love for over a year now and I'm glad it's going on OC16 as well. We'll be converting over to HD by year's end and for those that have watched... they may have noticed a bump up in camera work, lighting, staging etc.

Tonight is Pali's big night...DokoGa premiers!

Don't forget to tune in and check it out. Tell him what you like, don't like (constructive please, can't improve with a 'it sucks'... gotta know why it sucks), and what ideas you might have or want to know about for future shows.

He's got a bunch in the can already, but there's always a chance someone will come up with something not already covered.

was so much fun and I hope people enjoy the series.. for those that did see it, its obvious Sachi and I don't take ourselves seriously and are just having fun.
