Classic 1.8t engine, not many for sale because it is so reliable!
Never “chipped” so engine is strong. Never raced or abused!
Bumper-to-bumper warranty good until 2011
The turbocharged, intercooled, 1.8-liter four-cylinder in VW GTI's produce 180 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 173 pounds-feet of torque at 5,000 rpm.
