The thrill of "coming home"

I only get "back home" to Hawaii now and then, but Thanksgiving there was wonderful. From the peaceful sands of Mokuleia to the Banyon Court on Waikiki I found aloha is alive and well.
aj McWhorter of the Star-Bulletin connected me with Bob Basso and Bill Baist of my old crew at KHON and the reminiscing was incredible.

Sweet! Hope you get enough doses of Hawai`i to help you out through the rest of the year - there's quite an ex-pat community up and down the West Coast now. (Personal plug - look for the Northwest Hawai`i Times newspaper around the beginning of each month, at Hawaiian-themed restaurants and shops in Washington & Oregon.)
