  • Outside shed?

What would be the best matirial to make the wall of for an outside shed????
I was going to use ply wood, but I see lots of MDF being used in home construction.
I also saw some outdoor siding a Lowel's that I think would work.
Cost and termites resistance are the main concern.

I'd use T111. Easy to work with, made for exteriors.

I have one that is made of steel. The only problem is eventual rust. It has to be treated with Ospho or something similar, and the treated spot painted. Hadn't done that yet.

Plastic will degrade and warp over time.

Aluminum might work but that can also corrode.

Treated lumber can last quite long. But like steel you have to maintain it with an occasional coat of paint.

I'll second that opinion. I'm building a generator enclosure right now using T-111, and I've used it before for other outdoor projects. Excellent material.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
