I have moderate sewing skills and would really like to try my hand at making one of these gorgeous quilts for myself. I was wondering if there are any quilters here in our HT Ohana?
If so, what would you recommend as an easy beginners pattern? I bought some books, and even downloaded a few patterns, but there is nothing as valuable as a friend giving their opinion and help.
I probably would want to do a practice size, maybe a baby quilt? Then move on to a Cal King eventually. I appreciate any and all advice. If you have made one or more, would you please upload a photo of the work of art for us? I would love to see it! Mahalo.
