My book club is meeting on Apr 22. We will be discussing "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett. I'm still wait-listed (9th!!!) for a copy from the public library after being on the list since the middle of March. Doesn't look like I'll get the book in time for my book club discussion.
I just don't care to buy books when I know that after I'm done reading them, they'll sit around gathering dust in my apartment--which is already filled with WAY TOO MANY things, lol. I'm not big on reading books thru computer screens either, meh.
So...thought I'd see if anybody here (in Honolulu) might have a copy I could borrow...? I'm a fast reader, and I promise to take good care of your book if you lend it to me. I'm willing to arrange a meeting place in order to get the book from you. Hope somebody can help me out!
