  • White bugs on Sago palm

My Sago palm is covered in white bugs that are stuck to the leaves and shoots. I've been able to remove a third of them by shooting the water hose on it but it's not that efficient. Does anyone know of a chemical or better way to keep them off my tree?

    Mahalo!

(I know Sago is not officially a palm tree but that is what most people call it and why I used that term here)

It works for many bugs and I suggested this previously. Get some of Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap and make a spray diluting it with water you'll
    have good results

Also Volck oil spray. Doesn't harm the leaves but the bugs (and their eggs) can't handle the coating. It sounds like you might have whitefly, and Volck oil spray is quite effective on them.
