2010: Odyssey Two

It's been a long time since I read the novel 2010: Odyssey Two by Arthur C. Clarke and I seemed to misplaced my copy of the book. Maybe one of these days I should just buy it again and re-read sometime this year.

I read the novel when it first came out. Back then, the Cold War was still a big part of our reality, so the novel reflected that. The reality of the novel back then (early 1980's) does not apply today, however.

By the way, I read the novel in Playboy. It was serialized, I believe, and I read both parts. Yes, I read the articles and stories in Playboy when I subscribed to it. They were very good ... as well as the other stuff in the magazine.
