  • Decadent marshmallow roll

    The goal is to make them as disgustingly good as possible, here's the basic starter:

    MARSHMALLOW CRESCENT ROLLS - great for slightly STALE marshmellows
    2 T sugar
    1/2 t cinnamon
    1 can crescent rolls
    8 lg. marshmallows
    1 T melted butter
    FROSTING
    1 t milk
    1/4 t vanilla
    1/4 c powdered sugar
    Combine sugar, cinnamon. Separate rolls into 8 triangles. Dip marshmallows in butter, then in sugar/cinnamon mix. Wrap in crescent rolls, press edge to seal, dip in butter, sugar/cinnamon again. Bake by directions on crescent can. Drizzle with frosting.

    CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW ROLL - can use butterscotch/etc. chips
    2 c powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    1 pkg. 1 1/2 c chocolate chips
    1/4 c butter
    1 pkg. colored miniature marshmallows
    1 pkg. white marshmallows
    Beat together powdered sugar, eggs. Melt chocolate chips, butter together. Add eggs, powdered sugar mix. Pour over marshmallows. Shape into long roll. Wrap in aluminum foil, place in freezer for 1 hr. Take out, re-shape to get it firmer, do this 2-3 times. Roll in coconut or crushed nuts. Wrap in foil. Keep in freezer til ready to use, slice and serve. Add some peanut butter!
